Overview:

The IT Endpoint Technician ensures the smooth operation and optimization of endpoint devise within Forefront Dermatologys network infrastructure. The Technician is responsible for the configuration, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of endpoints such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. Additionally, they will collaborate closely with other IT professionals to implement security measures and policies, manage software updates, and provide technical support to end-users.

Full Time: 40 hours a week

Monday - Friday:

8:00am - 5:00pm

Onsite Location:IT801 York StManitowoc, Wisconsin 54220May require travel to WI clinics for equipment replacement; 10%

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with installing, configuring, and testing operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
  • Configure and deploy endpoint devices according to company standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement endpoint security policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving issues via phone, email, or in person.
  • Document all endpoint-related activities, including configurations, maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in endpoint management and security.
  • Work closely with the Infrastructure Operations team as part of 247 support team to establish on-call schedules and collaboratively plan and execute off-hour provisioning, maintenance and operations activities.
  • Adherence to compliance and completion of compliance training.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    1. Associates degree in IT / Computer Science/ Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience required.2. Minimum of 2 years of prior experience as an EndPoint Technician or related technical role required. 3. Experience deploying and/or managing IT services in a large-scale, geographically diverse environment preferred.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    1. Must possess strong knowledge of endpoint operating systems, including Windows and macOS.2. Proficiency with endpoint management tools (Intune, Jamf Pro, or similar platforms).3. Must possess working knowledge of Networking technologies (TCP, Load Balancing, Routing, Switching, Firewalls)4. Must be detail oriented.5. Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams. 6. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.7. High level of integrity, ethical judgment, and confidentiality when handling sensitive data.8. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Must be able to learn new software quickly.9. Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, leadership, and the public.10. Ability to use time productively and contribute to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness.
