We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong focus on data to contribute to our client's strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in defining and implementing the enterprise data architecture strategy and principles, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scalability, and security requirements.Architecture Design

• Design, implement, document, and maintain a scalable and robust technology architecture framework that aligns business and technology strategies.
• Establish and evolve standards and architectures for system and data security, quality, production infrastructure, and Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs), including adherence to industry standards like TOGAF and Zachman.
• Provide consultation and educational support to architects and engineers on the architecture framework.

Collaboration

• Develop strong relationships with key business leaders to understand challenges and leverage technology solutions to address opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative culture, engaging architects and engineers in design choices aligned with business objectives, architectural strategy, roadmaps, governance, and frameworks.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with technology strategy teams at strategic vendor partners.

Architecture Governance

• Develop and implement processes to ensure adherence to technology and security standards and policies.
• Chair relevant governance groups and boards to oversee planning and design processes.
• Lead efforts in technical modernization and application rationalization to improve efficiency, reduce complexity, and optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).

QualificationsRequired:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 10 years of proven experience as an EA or in a similar role within an enterprise-class environment OR a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Progressive career growth with increasing responsibilities.
• Deep technical expertise in cloud, virtualization, client/server, service-oriented architecture (SOA), software development, data management, networking, middleware, storage, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
• Strong understanding of business strategy and the ability to align technology solutions accordingly.
• Experience in developing and driving Enterprise Architecture concepts, roadmaps, principles, and strategies across an organization.
• Broad knowledge of business processes including service portfolio management, finance, asset management, high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk management.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with business and technical leaders at all organizational levels.

Desired:

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Certifications in relevant technologies and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Experience in the utility industry.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience working in a mixed Agile/Waterfall environment.
