IT Field Systems Analyst - Job Description Scout Energy is a private energy investment firm that acquires, operates and improves upstream conventional oil and gas and associated midstream properties for institutional investors. Scout's business is both the management of private energy funds and the operation of the oil and gas assets it owns. Current employee base is approximately 1200 with 200 employees in the Dallas (headquarters) office. Scout is seeking a Field Systems Analyst to aid field data gathering and reporting efforts. The position will be the first point of contact for employees seeking field operations systems support in the assigned Regions of responsibility. This position will report to Scout's Field Systems Manager as part of our Information Technology department. Duties & Responsibilities Support the analysis, design, development, testing, and training of Scout's field operations systems Collaborate closely with various field operations teams to design, implement and train on field operations systems as needed to capture the unique data collection scenarios in each assigned Region Create and maintain technical documents related to Scout's field systems environment including eVIN, FEDs, SFDs, and CMMS processes and procedures Update Facility Equipment Drawings and BLM Site Facility Diagrams where applicable upon field communication of a flow process change, processing equipment change, or facility layout change Create understandable and effective training presentations using PowerPoint, Prezi or similar software Provide initial eVIN, Carte and CMMS software training and refreshers to applicable field personnel Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Possess excellent problem solving, analytical, and written communication skills Demonstrate high-level communication skills with experience in working alongside diverse teams Some travel will be required to remote offices (TX, OK, KS, CO, UT, ND) to complete the listed duties and responsibilities Skills & Specifications Demonstrated proficiency with P2's eVIN and Carte systems and specific understanding of terms, vocabulary, and issues Proficiency with general CMMS needs and guidelines Comfortable with public speaking and training field personnel Ability to work independently to accomplish projects and meet deadlines Comfortable working with the various Scout field employee teams across the company Extensive experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Desire to learn and help field operations teams in any way possible Education & Qualifications Possess a valid driver's license 5-7 years' field experience preferred Legally authorized to work in the United States Able to pass a pre-employment drug and background check Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited, state-certified program Must be capable and willing to work overtime as required Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining equipment within oil and gas facilities preferred
