Job Description Infosys is seeking an IT Hardware Asset Manager. This candidate will be responsible for custody of IT hardware assets ensuring the security, compliance, accountability, and effective management of assets during the disposal process. Detailed records must be captured, and assets must be processed in accordance with the documented decommissioning and disposal policies. Responsible for overseeing and supporting the creation of the operational framework, governance, disposal event management and reporting within the Asset Management function Required Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Manhattan, New York or be willing to relocate to these areas. This position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least of 2 years of experience in Information Technology
  • At least 1 year of experience in IT Hardware Asset Management.
  • Experience in hardware and software asset management (licensing, procurement, IT Operations)
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required. Advanced skill in data manipulation or automation using Excel functionality
  • Experience in regulatory requirements and best practices in IT asset management is required
  • Experience in developing executive level presentation materials.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with desktop administration would be preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project)
  • Experience with ITIL, ITSM or ITAM tools is good to have.
  • Experience in project management & vendor management is preferred
  • Experience working with financial organization.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
