Role: IT Help Desk Specialist In this role, see yourself providing technical assistance and support to internal users related to computer systems and networks, hardware and software. You will have responsibility for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of servers and network hardware and software and related infrastructure. In addition, you will lead planning, design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of complex, technically oriented, and sensitive computerized systems and networks. You will, also, participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing needs and making recommendations for hardware, network and software upgrades.
- Leading implementation and maintenance of systems, hardware and server software.
- Performing daily datacenter system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Applying the IT purchase processes.
- Developing and maintaining clear and accurate documentation of IT processes and configurations.
- Performing training where necessary to ensure implementation ensures sustainability.

- Two (2) year computer science degree from an accredited institution with strong knowledge of Windows centric environment, and server and network administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be a self-starter, logical thinker, well organized and customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot computer systems related problems and perform complex system tests
- Skilled in Microsoft Windows Server management, Microsoft SQL Server administration, VMWare administration, and Cisco network administration.
- Able to work within the WEG Code of Ethics & Values. ( WEG Code of Ethics, 4th Edition )
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred:
