Job Description :
The customer service-oriented Help Desk Technician will provide technical support to users in an efficient and accurate manner. You will be considered as the firm's front liner, and you will solve basic technical problems and provide support for all assigned areas.We require an individual to live within 30 miles of our Harrisburg Office and within the state of PA.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issuesProperly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of supportTrack, route and redirect problems to correct resourcesUpdate customer data and produce activity reportsWalk customers through the problem-solving processFollow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolutionUtilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers' expectationsEnsure proper recording, documentation and closureRecommend procedure modifications or improvementsPreserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and servicesWhat We Are Looking ForExpected to be available on-call one week every month after the first 6 months of employmentWorking knowledge of help desk software, databases and remote control requiredStrong client-facing and communication skills a mustAdvanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills requiredBS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalentWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
