IT Intern - Steel Dynamics : Job Details

Overview:

Steel Dynamics seeks a self-directed Junior or Senior IT intern with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and industry experts

Responsibilities:

• Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
• Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
• Organize and maintain IT resources
• Gather requirements, design, and implement solutions.

Qualifications:

• Junior/Senior
• Majoring in Computer Science
• Minimum GPA 3.5
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in teams
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Must be able to work onsite
• Must have passed database class prior to applying for internship
  • Database experience is preferred. Oracle or MSSQL
• Familiar with C# or Java
• Familiar with computer hardware
