As an Information Technology (IT) Intern, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various IT disciplines, including enterprise architecture, IT operations, data management, digital applications, product ownership, and project management. You'll assist with tasks such as troubleshooting technical issues, documenting systems, managing data, and supporting the development and testing of applications. Additionally, you'll contribute to product ownership and project planning, getting exposure to the full lifecycle of IT projects. This flexible internship allows you to shape your experience based on your interests, with the support of experienced professionals. You'll work on real-world projects, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and participate in problem-solving and process improvements, all while learning in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that encourages growth and innovation.   • Helps drive forward key strategic projects within Farm Credit East
  • Gains broad insight into information technology at Farm Credit East putting your skills to use on different aspects of the organization, fostering both personal and professional growth
Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Project
  • Work with your project leader to develop a work plan that addresses the project scope, desired outcome, and key deliverables/due dates
  • Present your project findings and recommendations to Farm Credit East's Senior Leadership Team
Farm Credit East Career Experience
  • Proactively build relationships with Farm Credit East staff across departments and teams to gain understanding of our service delivery model and learn about our many career opportunities
  • Join Farm Credit East staff during customer visits to develop skills in relationship management and outstanding service delivery
  • Aid Farm Credit East staff with routine tasks as requested or assigned
  • Exhibit appreciation for diversity and contribute to Farm Credit East's inclusive team environment

  • Write a letter to CEO Michael Reynolds describing your summer experience, what you learned, and how that will affect your course of study in the next year and what your experience means for your career aspirations, no later than August 1, 2025
Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Agriculture, Agri-Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business or a related field.
