We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper, and metals from the waste stream. This position is responsible for strategic and tactical project execution and operational system support. Position requires the ability to lead and manage a team of Senior Business Analysts in support and delivery of technology systems and projects. Partners with business units to understand how technology and enterprise level applications support the achievement of both operational and strategic goals. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships to gather key information required to understand, plan for, and accomplish business objectives. Accountable for performance of multiple complex sub-functions or a highly complex and specialized sub-function. Establishes short- and medium-term business plans for area of responsibility. Provides input on functional strategy. Applies advanced knowledge of functional area by integrating theories and principles into the context of the larger organization. Manages resources and policy formation in area of responsibility. Creates detailed project schedules, mitigates risks, and manages issues of medium to high complexity. Decisions are guided by resource availability, functional objectives and with input from the IT Director of Business Engagement. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Execute strong and continuous leadership in maintaining a high performing IT support team comprised of appropriately skilled individuals.
- Create detailed project schedules, ensure on-time delivery of projects while mitigating project risks and resolving issues
- Lead and develop a team of business analysts in the support of enterprise level systems and applications and delivery of both strategic and tactical projects
- Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and consult with project team to outline a work plan
- Participate in regular interactions with business leaders to inform, alert, negotiate and maintain a strong relationship and shared vision to achieve business outcomes.
- Direct the creation and maintenance of required project documentation and artifacts ensuring that all defined project processes are followed and met.
- Participate in developing and monitoring the Business Engagement team budget, and support IT Director with managing expenditure within agreed spending plans.
- Ensure and balance the availability of the required skills and competencies across project teams within IT and business.
- Partner with the business and IT delivery teams to ensure effective technology solutions are delivered per plan and within budget.
- Remain current on industry trends and best practices and incorporate them into the company's technology systems.
- Participate in recruiting and hiring to meet staffing needs.
- Provide coaching and development feedback to employees through the formal Performance Management process
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is required.
- Ten (10) years of information technology experience or equivalent experience in project management, program management, systems integrations and data management
- Working knowledge of the following
- IT project management and lifecycle best practices.
- Vendor management techniques and practices.
