About the Role: Legacy Service Partners is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee our technology operations and ensure the effective management of our third-party Managed Service Providers (MSPs), internal help desk support, and hands-on troubleshooting of user systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT service management, user support, and vendor oversight while maintaining a strategic approach to technology infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Third-Party MSPs: Oversee and evaluate the performance of outsourced IT service providers, ensuring SLAs are met and optimizing service delivery.
- Help Desk Oversight: Direct and support internal/external help desk operations to ensure end-user issues are resolved efficiently.
- Hands-On Troubleshooting: Provide direct technical support for user systems, including hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee system security, backups, and network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- User Training & Support: Develop IT policies and provide training to employees on best practices for security, system usage, and troubleshooting.
- Software & Hardware Management: Oversee procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of IT assets.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Ensure compliance with company security policies and industry best practices, coordinating with third-party security providers as needed.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess IT processes, recommend improvements, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in information technology or related field
- 5+ years of IT management experience, with a strong focus on managing third-party MSPs and help desk operations.
- Proven hands-on experience troubleshooting end-user systems (Windows, Mac, mobile devices, networking, and software applications).
- Strong vendor management skills, including contract negotiation, performance tracking, and escalation management.
- Experience in IT security best practices, compliance standards, and data protection.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Experience with IT asset management and lifecycle planning.
