Our rapidly growing client is seeking a talented veteran team player to be their on-site, first responder to all IT, network and hardware troubleshooting and support for a team of approximately 30 users. This company is expanding and implementing ERP software to support their growth. This is a great opportunity to grow with them.The candidate responds to Help Desk calls and provides basic support and troubleshooting, such as printer configurations, break/fix instructions, ticket routing and escalation to higher level support.- Escalate issues to applications support or call for outside vendor maintenance (Level 4), as needed.- A Level 1 tech gathers and analyzes information about the user's issue and determines the best way to resolve their problem- Level 1 may also provide support for identified Level 2 and Level 3 issues where configuration solutions have already been documentedYou will be the onsite person supporting hardware issues and some software issues. You will support the production floor technology such as hand scanners, printers, and computers. You will have a direct interface with the company's contracted IT support company to assist you every step of the way. You will be encouraged to contact them and advise on any issues you need assistance with. You will receive training as necessary along the way. They want you to succeed. You will be responsible for three buildings in Wayne, NJ (they are all right next to each other). You will be provided with step-by-step procedures when responding to Help Desk calls.Network & PC support and troubleshooting experience required. All other areas are open to training.Desired skills:- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 Pro- Knowledge of printer/scanner configurations and troubleshooting- Knowledge of Zebra industrial thermal printers and handheld label scanners a plus- LAN and Wi-Fi knowledge and troubleshooting connectivity issues, with understanding of how access points work- Desktop and laptop support, with knowledge on how to replace hardware componentsBase salary, $65-75K, full benefits, and an annual bonus potential.There is an extremely high demand for this company's product and they are growing rapidly from support from new ownership.
