**Description**
**Purpose & Scope**
Provide technical oversight of a multi-site enterprise level WAN, including planning, implementation/expansion, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This position will be responsible for maintaining the network and computer systems for Dalhart including both hardware and software.
**Principal Responsibilities** Functions may include but are not limited to:
+ Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
+ Respond to queries either in person or over the phone
+ Maintain daily performance of computer systems
+ Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
+ Install computer peripherals for users
+ Coordinate maintenance of security cameras and systems
+ Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved
+ Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center
+ Work closely with departmental managers to determine the maintenance and growth needs of the network
**Travel:** Frequent travel 30-mile radius. Periodic travel out of area.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Integrity
+ Associates Degree or comparable experience:Computer Science or related field
+ Proficient understanding of network architecture and client/server technology
+ Analyzing Information
+ Proficiency in Microsoft office
+ Strong problem solving skills that allow you to identify problems within an organization's computer network
+ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
+ Right to work in the US not based solely on possession of a student visa or visa sponsored by a third party employer
+ Understand bio-security
+ Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision
+ Must be able to work weekends as needed/be on call
+ Ability to lift and install equipment/hardware for network systems
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor Degree - Computer Science or related field
+ Previous IT Management experience
