POSITION OVERVIEWThe primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to oversee the progress and delivery of casino, hotel, marketing, finance, and human resources related projects for Fontainebleau and ensure these projects are completed promptly and to required specifications. The Project Manager will also play a key role in the Fontainebleau Resort opening, leading strategic initiatives and a variety of large-scale programs and projects across the organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:Work with internal and external stakeholders to create project plans, ensure delivery against plans, resolve risks and issues as they arise, and effectively communicate progress, risks, and issues to senior stakeholdersPrepare project briefs (where applicable) and manage related meetings from project initiation to completionWork closely with representatives from operational departments to ensure proper project intake and trackingWork with stakeholders and external vendors on delivery deadlines and budgetsAct as the liaison between operations departments and I.T.Manages day-to-day operational aspects of projects to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeCreate project deliverables including project plans, status reports, communication plans, risk plans, and other related documentsEffectively communicates status updates and relevant information to internal and external stakeholders and senior managementFacilitate and guide the project teams effectivelyResolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashionSets and manage stakeholder expectationsInspire co-workers to attain goals and pursue excellenceComply with and effectively applies project management methodology and enforces project standardsTemporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessaryQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be at least 21 years of age.Bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years related experience in a similar role.
