The IT Project Tech II will play a key role in facilitating project communication, tracking progress, and ensuring tasks are completed on time, along with providing assistance handling service desk tickets. This position requires the flexibility to travel and ability to self-manage and research solutions independently
Responsibilities:
- Executing Project Goals: Implementing project objectives as directed by the IT Project Data Supervisor.
- Coordination: Scheduling and coordinating project activities, meetings, and resources to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Project Planning: Collaborating with project managers and team members to assist in project planning, including defining objectives, tasks, and timelines.
- Change Management: Assisting in managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, and communicating these changes to stakeholders.
- Travel: This role may require travel of up to 20%-30%.
- Service Desk Support: Resolving escalated service desk tickets, answering tickets in the Track-IT queue, and collaborating with the IT Service Desk Coordinator to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Documentation: Documenting all details about reported issues, steps taken to resolve them, and any resolutions achieved.
- Assisting IT Data Coordinator & IT Systems Maintenance: Supporting these roles as needed.
- Other Tasks: Performing additional tasks as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in creating clear and concise training documentation for software, hardware, or processes.
- Ability to manage and execute concurrent projects.
- Advanced experience with Office 365.
- Experience in project management, including assisting or leading projects.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements such as HIPAA, SOX, PCI.
- Self-starter with the ability to research solutions independently.
- Ability to prioritize tickets based on urgency and user needs.
