The IT Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for:
* Designing, developing and executing tests that can verify a software project's functionality and performance Conduct manual testing to ensure the developed software performs in accordance with
the requirements and is in a bug free state to be released for User Acceptance Testing.
* Review software requirements and create test cases. Collaborate with colleagues to confirm testing results.
* Coordinate and prioritize testing activities with colleagues and obtain authorization for
accuracy.
* To provide assistance and feedback with team members to validate test results. Ability to execute all test cases.
* Manage, report and triage defects among the application team Define severity and priority for each defect reported with status Perform regression testing for code changes that applies to defects
Minimum Qualifications
1. A certificate from an accredited technical school (approximately 675 hours) with a specialization in computer operations, and two years of satisfactory full-time computer operations experience, in a large-scale networked, multi- tiered, or mainframe computer environment, or two years of satisfactory data communications network experience working in a mainframe or multi-tiered computer environment; or
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and three years of satisfactory full-time experience as described in 1 above; or
3. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and four years of satisfactory full-time experience as described
in 1 above; or
4. A satisfactory combination of education and/or experience equivalent to 1 , 2 ,or 3 above. However, all candidates must have at least two years of full-time experience as described in 1 above
Preferred Skills
* Minimum 2 years or more of software testing experience Analytical skills and knowledge of computer systems to ensure programs are running efficiently to meet customer expectations. - Familiarity with Agile & Azure DevOps methodologies Excellent reporting, time management, analytical and communication skills Understanding of business requirements Strong analytical skills required/needed to examine applications more closely and identify challenges or bugs in the software. - Analytical skills will also assist with recommendation or advise on how to improve their programs and make them more user friendly. -Ability to communicate testing strategy expectations and results to colleagues. - Discuss coding challenges with team members and understand the application objectives. - Written communication skills required when generating test reports for management and the business. - Organizational skills needed to manage the multiple test plans for multiple software applications and reporting to the business and other team members. - Need to prioritize work, identify deadlines and allocate daily responsibilities between the in-progress projects.
