IT Quality/Test Engineer 4 - Saxon Global : Job Details

Position's Contributions to Work Group: Working with Mobile and Aftermarket team on mobile test automation. Testing Android and iOS native, apps depending on team using Appium framework, written in Python/Pytest. Reason/motivation for request: Backfill Typical task breakdown: - will perform QA automation duties as well as help other automation teams to figure out problems/issues. - QA Lead Automation Engineer would support our QA team. - help QA manager define and write/create test cases for manual, automated, stress, and load tests - analyzing incoming support tickets that are raised up from tier 2 Cat Digital Support, turning them into test cases, and then helping automate them for testing/regression Interaction with team: - Currently working with 4 main team members, but will also be interacting with manual QA testers and other teams, QA automation testers, weekly meetings, etc. Work environment: Working remotely; but will need to connect with team when necessary. Education & Experience Required: - Bachelor's degree is Nice but not required. Technical Skills: - Appium automation experience 3-5+ years (iOS and Android) - Python automated test framework experience 3-5+ year - Pytest automated test framework experience 3-5+ years - Mobile application performance testing (frontend,UX/UI, backend,API) - Backend API automation experience - Mobile application load testing (frontend,UX/UI,backend, API) - Experience using SauceLabs(Desired) - Nice to have - Mobile Security testing experience - 1-2 years as a QA Automation lead is preferred Soft Skills Required - Azure Devops experience - using test cases in ADO or integrating into pipelines Disqualifiers/Red Flags:If the candidate has NO Python or Pytest experience* ****Interview Process: - 1st interview will be a coding exercise - 2nd interview ( panel) Required Skills : Appium Automation (3-5 years iOS and Android) Python automated test framework (3-5 years) Pytest automated test framework (3-5 years) Basic Qualification : Mobile applic performance testing, load testing (frontend, UX/UI, backend API) 1-2 years QA Automation Lead exp is preferred Experience using SauceLabs Mobile Security testing exp.
