Apply Now!Qualifications/Requirements:In this position you will be a mid-level civilian essential to the direction and operation in the Special Access IT Division. As the Information Assurance management Level II and as it relates to security, continuous integration, and special access programs, to ensure satisfactory and timely execution of programs, projects, and operations.Additionally, as the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Cybersecurity Program Manager, you will spearhead the enterprise-wide strategy of the TEMPEST program and be a key enabler to the modernization of cryptographic materials to safeguard communication systems against unauthorized access and threats. This crucial role demands a cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) capable of interpreting and collaborating with our partners to develop policy and conducting thorough security evaluations to maintain operational readiness. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of classified and sensitive communications, aligning with national security policies. Candidates will bring a robust background in cybersecurity and information assurance or related fields, demonstrating a capacity to handle high-stakes security protocols and lead a team in a demanding environment.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must be able to obtain & maintain a “Top Secret/SCI” w/Poly Security clearance.Must be able to obtain & maintain the required Information Management Assurance (IAM, Level II certification.This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position.HIGHLY DESIRED EXPERIENCE:Tempest StrategiesPolicies and Procedures for Electromagnetic ProtectionCryptographic Material Management & ModernizationKnowledge of a wide range of IT/Information Assurance (IA) requirements, techniques, and methods to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools.Knowledge of the Secretary of the Air Force (SAF) Directorate and subordinate element missions and objectives to assess information technology, information systems, the cyber enclave and other technologies peripheral to the specialty is required in order to affect coupling of technology thrusts to potential aerospace systems in a secure environment and with their application in combat, the industrial complex and our coalition partners.Knowledge of guidelines, instructions, or directives issued by Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force (AF), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), National Security Administration (NSA), and other national level organizations to include the Executive Branch.Knowledge of IT and testing/training concepts and systems capabilities to accomplish mission.Skill to ensure the rigorous application of information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of all IT services and the ability to promote awareness of security issues among management and ensuing sound security principles are reflected in organizations visions and goals to enable management to make decisions on development of pertinent security policies that affect the Air Force as a whole.Skill and ability to conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.The position is situated in a fast paced, high stress staff environment required to support SAF/Chief Information Officer (CN), the AF Special Access Program Central Office (SAPCO), and Headquarters Air Force. The incumbent will face daily urgent requests from general officers for papers, briefings and evaluations, typically concerning a politically sensitive issue.Ability to analyze, plan and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.
