About the Role: As an IT Specialist at our corporate location, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT department. You will be expected to provide technical support to our employees, maintain our computer systems and networks, and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure is reliable, efficient, and secure. This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or related field
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to employees in person, over the phone, or via email
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, and networks
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our technology infrastructure
