The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full time Information Technology (IT) Specialist (GG-2210-13), to perform as a Senior Digital Services Specialist, working at the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC), at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), on Lackland Air Force Base (AFB), in San Antonio, Texas.

This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007

Salary ($129,239 - $176,632) based on experience.

Qualifications/Requirements:

In this position serve as a senior information technology (IT) specialist and technical expert within a Branch of the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen• Must be able to obtain & maintain a “Top Secret/SCI” Security clearance.• Must be able to obtain & maintain Information Assurance (IA) certification within 6-months of assigned duties.• This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position• This position is Acquisition Category IT, Level II and incumbent must be able obtain and maintain appropriate certification requirements In Accordance With (IAW) the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) no later than 24 months after accepting this position.• Advanced technical knowledge of software and other various digital technology systems (cyber, cloud, platform, data, and/or artificial intelligence).• Knowledge of technology systems analysis and applications software concepts, functions, techniques, and capabilities sufficient to evaluate new and emerging IT security methods and principles, the feasibility of proposed new systems and applications software projects; and to design, write, test, debug, and maintain information systems and applications software and ensure successful integration with existing and anticipated infrastructure in the database environment.• Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force policies and procedures, guidelines, directives and techniques related to software and technology system platforms.• Ability to clearly and effectively discuss and present program objectives, managerial tasks, and technical information verbally and in writing to management and professional personnel at all levels within the DoD and other government agencies within timelines prescribed by regulation or management.• Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements.• Ability to identify requirements for contracting and budget proposals for IT acquisitions.• Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.HIGHLY DESIRED EXPERIENCE:• Continuous Integration• Continuous Delivery• Automated testing• Continuous monitoring for cybersecurity• CASP• CEH• Sec +•Net +
