We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to lead and manage our outsourced IT relationships, ensuring day-to-day end user requests are acknowledged and resolved via email or ticketing system. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues within the company. The ideal candidate will have experience in technology and vendor management, with a focus on maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's data. This is an onsite NYC role. What You'll Do
- Serve as an initial point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance.
- Oversee and manage the relationship with our outsourced IT service provider.
- Collaborate with the outsourced IT team to procure equipment, track equipment inventory and issue equipment (i.e. new hire onboarding).
- Document, track, and monitor problems in a ticketing system.
- Advise employees on methods, steps, and actions to resolve and avoid future IT related issues and provide documentation as needed.
- Support installs or upgrades of software or devices.
- Perform local and remote troubleshooting.
- Adhere to all security practices and procedures to safeguard company resources.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with hardware and software service providers.
- Develop and implement incident response plans in coordination with outsourced IT and service providers.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents, providing timely and effective responses.
- Assist in efforts to achieve and maintain compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC II).
- Manage security awareness training vendor.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with employees.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field or a combination of experience.
- 2 - 4 years of related experience.
- Proficient in working with Apple products and Mac OS.
- Experience with Microsoft products.
- Experience procuring and configuring employee hardware including laptops, printers, and phones.
- Familiarity with hardware systems, networking equipment, and security appliances
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The actual base salary pay offered may vary based on multiple factors such as qualifications, experience, transferable skills, level of education, and other factors permitted by law. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work in this location and refers to the amount Qrypt is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The range listed is just one component of Qrypt's total compensation package.
