Overview
The IT Technician Intern will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot company computers and peripherals, and common computer-related problems. This individual will come in close contact with other company employees and should be prepared to provide customer-oriented technical support when required.
Qualifications
* Support-level knowledge in Windows 10 operation systems and/or iOS
* Basic knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, Subnetting, Routing, DHCP, and DNS
* In-depth knowledge of PC hardware and software and must be able to correct PC related problems in a timely manner
* Demonstrate the capacity for organization and prioritization in a technical environment
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Analytical skills with an ability to evaluate problems and issues, make recommendations for courses of action
* Interpersonal skills necessary to work well with others in teams and collaborative work situations
* Ability to accept change and adapt to organizational change and shifting priorities

Responsibilities
* Maintain, configure, support, and implement desktop computing hardware and software technologies, both on premise and as well as cloud-based platforms such as Office 365 and other SaaS systems
* Troubleshoot technical issues, provide technical support, and facilitate trouble tickets
* Execute hardware, software, and licensing inventory tracking and control
* Maintains spare computers and monitors for quick replacement until malfunctioning unit can be repaired or replaced
* Troubleshoot and maintain wired and wireless company network
