Responsibilities
This position is responsible for providing technical support for department computers, printers, and classroom technology.
* Knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills with PC hardware, Windows and macOS operating systems, and various software packages and services including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, OneDrive, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat and Creative Cloud Suite, modern web browsers, SPSS, and MATLAB.
* Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
* Knowledge and troubleshooting skills with classroom audio/visual and lectern equipment.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
* Responsible for hardware and software procurement, hardware/software inventory management, and lifecycle planning and replacement.
* Monitors the help desk ticketing system and works with the Technical Support Analyst to resolve incoming issues and requests.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Must be able to work independently but also collaborate with IT team members, faculty, staff, and students.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience. (Note: post high-school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.)

An individual who is flexible, adapts easily to the needs of multiple stakeholders communicates effectively, is detail-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and can organize tasks and meet deadlines. You enjoy seeing projects through to completion.

Anticipated Salary Range
The minimum starting salary for this position is $44,056.
