IT Support Technician - Ivy Technology LLC : Job Details

*IT Support Technician* *Summary*Provides technical support to end-users for PC, server, hardware, or software applications. This is a site based position in an industrialized environment, everyday physical presence on the site is required.*Responsibilities** Install, configure, and maintain personal workstations, servers, ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems* Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties* Anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures* Provide support and development of software requirements as requested by the business unit.* Conduct user training on approved software and hardware on an as required basis* Evaluate and perform root- cause analysis on escalated issues.* Create documentation to assist other departments with further analysis of technical issues.* Provides occasional off- hours on-site support for planned maintenance work, unplanned support issues, or to meet customer SLAs.*Requirements** 1 year of experience in a relevant IT position*Education* *Requirement*Bachelor's Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required.Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or computer related discipline required.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Dental insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Day shift* Monday to FridayPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyAbility to commute/relocate:* Louisville, KY 40299: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:* Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:* IT: 1 year (Preferred)* Computer networking: 1 year (Preferred)* Troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person
