Overview

East Penn is currently seeking an IT Project Manager.

Responsibilities

* Leads Information Technology project activities, from idea through implementation, while serving as liaison & partner to functional process owners and other key stakeholders.

* Requirements gathering, scoping & chartering

* Process metrics & signs of success definition

* Resource allocation & assignment

* Cost budgeting & financial analysis

* Issue investigation, escalation & resolution

* Testing & training plans

* Status reporting & communications

* Benefits validation (to avoid premature project completion)

* Creation & execution of a process control plan

* Postmortem learning activities to evaluate effectiveness of past approaches and drive continuous improvement

* Proactively manages project outcomes & deliverables to ensure successful completion within scope, budget & time commitments, while accelerating ROI.

* Develops & implements comprehensive project plans, including a detailed change management plan

* Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of projects

* Supports team members in executing tasks as needed to meet project deliverables

* Coordinates meetings, writes minutes, manages presentations

* Leads the RFP process (if applicable)

* Effectively facilitates Stage/Gate reviews to generate a 'go/no go' consensus

* Identifies & facilitates major milestones celebrations

* Contains / mitigates risk throughout the project lifecycle

* Conduct audits to verify changes 'stick' and employees properly adapt new procedures & processes (so they become 'how things get done' going forward - i.e. the 'new normal')

* Implements a reinforcement strategy that supports the new way of doing things

* Ensures successful transition/hand-off to process owners/functional leaders

Qualifications

Experience

* Min 3 yrs leading complex projects as a partner to process owners &/or functional leaders

* Min 3 yrs leading I.T. Centric Business Management System/Infrastructure projects

Education

* BS or BA

* Concentration in Bus Mgt, Operations, Management Information Systems or Information Technology (preferred)

* Lean Six Sigma &/or PMP certification (preferred)

* Excellent project & change management skills, including demonstrated proficiency of

* Assumptions & constraints identification

* Root cause analysis

* Value stream mapping

* Cross-functional flow charting

* Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA)

* Alternatives assessment

* Strong influencing & relationship building skills, along with expertise change management

* Provides appropriate leadership needed to gain trust, create buy-in, build support & commitment, and motivate others to action

* Regularly spends time developing and maintaining relationships across the organization
