DescriptionExciting Opportunity for Experienced IV Pharmacy Technicians at Remedi SeniorCare!Whether you are ready for a change from the typical retail pharmacy environment or already have long term care pharmacy experience, if you are a Pharmacy Technician with IV experience, we are looking for you!What we offer:Guaranteed HoursCutting-edge, closed-door facility designed for success.Career AdvancementPaid Time Off (for full time employees)Comprehensive Medical, Vision, and Dental InsuranceFlexible Spending and Health Saving AccountsLife insurance/Long-and Short-term disability401K planPet Insurance and more!What you will do:As an IV Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the IV Manager with the day-to-day operational needs of the Infusion department, adhering to the company's quality and customer service standards, policies and procedures, state and federal guidelines.Filling of IV orders to include, but, not limited to, mixing of IV medications, mathematically calculate doses, apply all sterile techniques as applicable to the job.Sending supplies and equipment to facilitiesMaintaining all IV mixing records.Performing regular cleaning and maintenance check on all equipmentProgramming of all infusion pumpsData entry of all applicable I.V. ordersResponsible for the ordering of supplies from various vendorsPerform other tasks as requiredPerform technician assignments as requested by the pharmacy management.Maintain all IV pharmacy related equipment and supplies in the equipment rental log.Actively contributes to the evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies and procedures.Assists with ensuring safety policy and procedures are practiced and adhered.Participates in special projects to identify and implement operational improvements.Ability to work with others in a positive productive manner anticipates and responds to the positions areas of responsibilities.What you will bring:High School graduate or equivalent required.Current National/State Pharmacy Certification required, basic computer knowledge skills required, must have basic understanding of medical terminology, math and analytical skills.Previous pharmacy technician experience required.
