**Description**

The Janitor (also known as Housekeeper, Environmental Services Aide, EVS Aide, Custodian) is responsible for the general cleaning and related sanitation functions for all Administrative buildings in Penn-Mar Human Services and other location as deemed appropriate. The Janitor is responsible for all general cleaning functions to ensure a safe, sanitary and professional environment for both the staff and individuals we support.

This job is inclusive of, but not excluded to the following duties:

* General cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming of all common areas.

* Collection and disposal of all trash and refuse.

* Cleaning and vacuuming of all administrative and programmatic areas.

* Disinfecting, sweeping and mopping all lavatory areas.

* Cleaning all coffee stations, break rooms and training spaces including microwaves, tables, sink counters and refrigerators.

Qualifications:

* Minimum High School Diploma/ G.E.D.

* 3-5 years of housekeeping or janitor experience required.

* Acceptable criminal background.

* Valid Driver's License with 2 yrs. of consecutive driving experience.

* Ability to pass pre-employment Drug Screen/ Physical/ Mantoux Test (PPD, TB).
