DescriptionOVERVIEW:To help maintain cleanliness and order of Corps building and grounds.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure floors remain clear of all tripping and other hazardsMaintain and ensure all floors are clean, swept, mopped, and/or vacuumedMaintain and ensure all restrooms are clean, swept, mopped, stocked, and sanitizedDust and sanitize all hard surfacesClean interior windows; power wash exterior windows as neededMaintain cleanliness of exterior areas, disposing of trash/debris, some plant maintenanceEmpty trash receptacles, recycling and compost bins/clean receptacles as neededEnsure unused areas of the building are locked for safety and securityPerform and document routine inspectionFollow all health, safety regulations, and chemical storage and hygiene best practicesOther related duties as requiredEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent (required)CA Driver's License (preferred)SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to take initiativeAbility to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentialityTeam playerEQUIPMENT USED:Modern Office Equipment and Relevant SoftwareRelevant janitorial and maintenance equipmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.ADA Statement:Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
