Janitor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Adhere to a stringent cleaning schedule.

* Clean and Sanitize offices, bathrooms, and Breakrooms.

* Dust, Take Trash out

* Pick up trash.

* Sweep, vacuum, mop, Floors

* Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift

* Change out rugs and mats

* Restock paper products and soaps

* Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of shift.

* Inspects equipment for cleanliness and repair and personally corrects issues found.

* Strive for continual improvement in processes and functions.

* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* REQUIREMENTS:

* Physical strength and dexterity to operate necessary equipment and perform all required cleaning duties, i.e., lifting up to 35 lbs., standing, stooping and bending.

* Knowledge of the standard methods, equipment and supplies used in large-scale janitorial activities of the services preferred.

* Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety rules and regulations including MSDS preferred.

* Ability to operate and use tools and equipment of the janitorial service

* Ability to maintain cleaning equipment and machinery.

* Must be a steady, reliable worker with a high degree of customer service acumen.
