Janitorial Associate will assist with facility cleaning and maintaining of manufacturing site to present the highest level of organization and safety. In this role, the Janitorial Associate will organize and clean under supervision as assigned. This role requires janitorial experience, and the ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean interior of the building, as well as machinery and equipment, and exterior of the building.
  • Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and report needs to supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

    The incumbent must possess:

  • Basic knowledge and compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment used for cleaning.
  • Basic knowledge of production machines and tools.
  • Must be able to read and understand English.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

    • Physical Demands and Work Environment

    Physical Activities

  • Position requires standing, lifting, pulling, and managing heavy equipment and objects.
  • Frequent requirements of stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, and climbing.
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 50-70 pounds in all directions.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
