Job Responsibilities1. Maintain the maintenance spare parts inventory with accurate records through use of the Maintenance Management System2. Completes purchase requisitions as required by corporate purchasing3. Issues parts to maintenance, refrigeration, and other plant personal4. Communicates with maintenance, refrigeration, and supervisory employees to ensure the correct parts are on hand when needed5. Track parts inventory daily6. Orders, receives, and restocks maintenance parts7. Keeps the parts room clean and organized8. Maintains and communicates receiving records9. Assist the storeroom coordinator and other duties as assigned10. Manage picklists and cycle counts.11. Collection and closing of work orders and P.M.'s using the Enterprise Asset Management system AM12. Assist with storeroom second and third shift vacation coverage and other projects associated with the Storeroom13. Ability to work weekends to cover production and flexible to cover other shifts when needed14. Will need to cover base with another employee on first shift15.Communication through phone/two-way radio16. Take and relay Emergency Response Team callsMinimum Qualifications* High school diploma or equivalent* One-year industrial work experience* PHYSICAL: No work restrictions prohibiting standing for long periods of time* No work restrictions prohibiting lifting 50 pounds, able to climb stairs and ladders* Ability to multitask between telephone calls, radio calls and servicing the counter* Ability to read, write and speak English* Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate at all levelsPreferred Qualifications* Two years industrial experience in poultry industry* Previous data entry (computer skills) experience* Machine parts/mechanical parts knowledge of familiarity* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and parts manuals* No work restrictions prohibiting lifting 50 pounds* Good typing skillsAt Jennie-O Turkey Store we invite difference and diversity in all aspects.
