Jewelry Design Artist
What you'll do at Spur
- Hand rendering jewelry designs using digital programs.
- Interpreting design prompts using photographs of existing heirloom materials
- Work with our client and production team conceptualizing jewelry designs aligned with our brand aesthetic
- Problem solve designs with unique materials using knowledge of jewelry fabrication and techniques.
- Make artful design and merchandising decisions within various project scopes.
- Regularly execute design edits.
- Write thoughtful descriptions of your designs.
- Attend design team meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in designing jewelry.
- Coursework or relevant professional experience in jewelry rendering and/or technical drawing.
- Experience working in digital sketching programs, such as Sketchbook, Procreate, Fresco.
- Minimum availability of 10 hours per week during business hours Eastern time with reliable consistency.
- Excellent command of jewelry design and knowledge of common fine jewelry fabrication techniques.
