Jewelry Design Artist

What you'll do at Spur

• Hand rendering jewelry designs using digital programs.
• Interpreting design prompts using photographs of existing heirloom materials
• Work with our client and production team conceptualizing jewelry designs aligned with our brand aesthetic
• Problem solve designs with unique materials using knowledge of jewelry fabrication and techniques.
• Make artful design and merchandising decisions within various project scopes.
• Regularly execute design edits.
• Write thoughtful descriptions of your designs.
• Attend design team meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in designing jewelry.
• Coursework or relevant professional experience in jewelry rendering and/or technical drawing.
• Experience working in digital sketching programs, such as Sketchbook, Procreate, Fresco.
• Minimum availability of 10 hours per week during business hours Eastern time with reliable consistency.
• Excellent command of jewelry design and knowledge of common fine jewelry fabrication techniques.
