This includes planning, execution, forwarder management and tracking of the company's logistics activities. The role will also involve managing a team logistics professional to ensure the smooth operation of the departmentResponsibilities:Primary Responsibilities: Develop and implement logistics policies, procedures, and controls in line with company strategy; Develop and maintain a logistics network that ensures timely delivery of products and materials to the company's facilities, customers, and suppliers; Oversee logistics for overseas shipments and ensure proper setup of SAP for receiving incoming equipment; Monitor inventory levels to ensure that materials and goods are available to meet production and delivery schedules; Improve standardized logistics system and support warehouse process flows by completing daily, weekly, and monthly verifications of improvement plans on performance; Develop and maintain logistics plans and procedures to ensure the company's compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., customs, import/export); Resolve transportation related customer complaints and act as the primary point of contact for Customer Service for all transportation related questions or issues; Manage / optimize freight costs and budgets, negotiating rates or services where needed or where established agreements do not exist; Support, coach and manage the logistics team to ensure that all logistics activities are executed efficiently and accurately. Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, including key metrics and KPIsQualifications:Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field; Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics role, with at least 3 years in a management position; Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, such as customs and import/export regulations; Familiarity with freight forwarding software and industry-specific technology tools; Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team building, performance management, and employee development; Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects; Bilingual Mandarin and English
