Overview of BLOC: We are an inner city ministry that lives and works in the neighborhoods we serve. Our mission exists to build relationships with our neighbors and share hope in brokenness. We target neighborhoods that are underserved. We have a staff size of about 45 where we have after school programs, sports performance center, houses for women in sex trafficking, men and women transitional homes, two coffee shops, screen printing, and other forms of ministry to love our neighbors. About the role:The role of a Job Training Coordinator involves overseeing training programs for students. It involves communicating with partners and directors to ensure that programs are running smoothly. What you will do:

- LPH teaching kitchen
- McPherson teaching kitchen
- CPS job training/ Project Life
- Hamilton county youth work program
- Hamilton County juvenile youth work program
- Partnership with barber school
- Partnership with Sustainergy
- Partnership with Willow boutique
- Partnership with daycare catering
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementation of job sites to students
- Recruit new schools and programs
- Communicate with partners to maintain relationships and identify training opportunities
- Map out and create development plans for programs and individuals
- Market and recruit job training opportunities
- Update grants and collaborate with directors on budgets
- Gather feedback and data on job training in the database system and create reports quarterly
- Identify partners that fit us and align with our mission
- Track students progress and follow through on job placement after graduation
- Create trainings for all directors
Requirements:

- Experience with networking a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, including trainees, trainers, and organizational leadership
- Ability to address challenges or obstacles that arise during the training process.
