**Job Description:**
We are seeking a motivated Millwright Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, as well as assisting with new machinery setups. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for entry-level candidates to join a union apprenticeship program (4 years) and work towards becoming a licensed professional.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Candidates will be working on various jobsites including but not limited to - new construction buildings, ethanol/energy, and manufacturing plants.
+ Performing mechanical functions, such as equipment assembly, dismantling, welding, calibrating.
+ Changing out drive chains, conveyors, bearings, and other components.
+ Install electrical conduits or wiring to help machines run correctly.
+ Diagnose potential problems with machines and repair them.
**Essential Skills:**
+ Construction and mechanical skills.
+ Mathematically inclined.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Experience with assembly, general labor, hand tools, mechanical troubleshooting, oil changes, welding, blueprints, repair, hydraulics, installation, and power tools.
**Skills & Qualifications:**
+ High School Diploma.
+ Valid Driver's License.
+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
+ Ability to drive to jobsites around the local area, upwards of 1 hour or more.
**Additional Information:**
+ Day shift hours / 7am - 4pm / Monday - Friday
