Located in St. Joseph, Michigan, LECO continues to be a family-owned company that understands the value of shared interests, long-term stability, loyalty, and trust.Schedule:Full Time: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Overtime and Saturdays as required Position Summary: As a licensed Journeyman, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various types of industrial machinery and equipment. The position also requires performing preventative maintenance and maintaining records.Position Responsibilities:

• Must possess a broad range of knowledge encompassing; tooling, fixturing, machine equipment design and fabrication
• Must have experience with (PLC) programmable logic controllers (Allen Bradley brand)
• General building maintenance
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks per manufacturers recommendations and or LECO requirements utilizing our E-Maintenance program
• Maintain repair records of equipment, inventory used, work completed on equipment, hours logged utilizing our E-Maintenance program
• Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment or software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of electronic/mechanical units and systems
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude
• Considerable knowledge of maintenance practice, methods, equipment, and materials
• Skill in locating and adjusting defects in mechanical systems and equipment
• Skills in general building maintenance
• Skilled in the use and care of tools and equipment
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions associated with maintenance
• Must be dependable and able to work with little or no supervision
• Job is weekdays but must be available to work at other times as requested
• Lifting, climbing, walking and driving a must
• Valid Driver License is a must

Position Requirements:

• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Climbing and walking
• A valid driver license is a must
• Hydraulic and Pneumatics is required
• Programmable Controls is preferred
• HVAC is a plus

Education/Certifications:

• Journeyman's card and/or Associates degree in Mechanical Machine Repair
