Jr. Network Engineer - Snelling Staffing Services : Job Details

Seeking a Jr. Networking Engineer for a well-established company! Job duties include:

• Design, deploy, monitor, and maintain/secure network infrastructure to include switches, routers, wireless network infrastructure, firewalls and VPN
• Provide input and network deployment support for the data center development or client proposal projects
• Develop deployment documentation for network systems
• Install and configure security and network management software
• Ensure security and privacy of networks
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance
• Maintain records / logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
• Identify and resolve network security flaws or inefficiencies
• Monitor system updates and perform routine maintenance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Ability & willingness to respond to emails after hours in the event of an emergency, and at times work extended hours
• Applicants will be background and drug screened for this position
