Our client is seeking a Junior Packaged Goods Buyer to join their growing manufacturing facility. The Junior Packaged Goods Buyer will assist in purchasing and negotiating food products to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Focus:

• Assist in processing purchase orders for products and materials in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Support senior buyers in collaborating with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and ensure timely procurement of required materials.
• Learn negotiation techniques and assist in discussions with suppliers under supervision.
• Help evaluate supplier performance and identify potential areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.

Skill Set:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
• 1-4 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities with a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with procurement software is a plus.
