SALARY RANGE: $65K-$95KSalary is dependent upon the candidate's skills, experience, education, and certifications. The high end of the salary range is considered for those who exceed qualifications in required areas. Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Jr. Software Tester (508 Compliance) for one of our clients. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress.

• Responsible for auditing a suite of 36 modules for accessibility compliance. While auditing a module, you will document concerns as stories in JIRA. You will also attend design sessions as the accessibility advocate.
• Provide expertise in the planning, constructing, and execution of test scripts.
• Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives.
• Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.
• Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date.

• Bachelor's Degree, or 2 years work experience, or an Associate's Degree with 3 years experience.
• Experience with JAWS, ANDI, and WAVE.
• Experience with the WCAG success criterion.
• Experience with accessibility auditing and documenting remediation plans.
• Certified DHS Trusted Tester.
• Experience with JIRA/CONFLUENCE.
• Working knowledge of the SAFe methodology.
• Experience with Pega.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight.
• Able to develop strong client relationships.
