Job Overview - Junior Accountant (Hybrid): Join our client's team as a Junior Accountant in Long Island, NY! This hybrid role involves maintaining accounting records within the general ledger, assisting with accounts receivables and payables, and preparing financial records to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other financial activities. Location: Nassau County, NY (Hybrid) Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000/year + bonus Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday Responsibilities as the Junior Accountant (Hybrid):

• Financial Records: Assist in preparing monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and bank accounts.
• AP/AR Management: Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and collections.
• Reconciliations: Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Audit and Compliance: Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaboration: Work with departments to manage project codes and support financial operations.

Qualifications for the Junior Accountant (Hybrid):

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Experience: 2+ years of related experience required.
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
