Junior Accountant - Carrier Enterprise : Job Details

Carrier Enterprise, LLC ( Carrier Enterprise ), a joint venture between Watsco, Inc. ( Watsco ) and Carrier Corporation ( Carrier ) has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Junior Accountant.

Carrier Enterprise is a joint venture between Watsco and Carrier. Carrier Enterprise distributes Carrier, Bryant and Payne residential and light commercial HVAC equipment products throughout the U.S. Sunbelt, Latin America and the Caribbean.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Junior Accountant position is responsible for functioning in a professional and knowledgeable manner. This position is an experienced level position that reports directly to the Accounting Supervisor.

RESPONSIBLITIES

* Process Direct Orders;

* Process Credit & Rebill transactions to correct customer billings;

* Work with filed on claims processed with Carrier and perform monthly accruals;

* Perform weekly audit of payments;

* Assist with internal and external audit requirements;

* Assist with month end closing process;

* Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley testing and compliance;

* Other responsibilities as assigned
