Junior Accountant - Atrium Staffing : Job Details

Our client is a well-established retail company based in Manhattan that is growing and looking to add a Junior Accountant to their team. Salary/Hourly Rate:$50k - $52k Position Overview:The Junior Accountant will have a focus in AR/AP on a team of 3 staff, reporting to the Assistant Controller. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for processing weekly invoicing and reconciling accounts among other duties. Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant:

• Assist in the accounts payable and accounts receivable demand.
• Assist in the recording of current and aging client accounts.
• Monthly reporting on customer/client payments.

Qualifications for the Junior Accountant:

• The Junior Accountant will have 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Prior knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.
• Detail oriented.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is required.
