MZ Wallace is seeking a dynamic and creative Junior Art Director with a passion for social media to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for design, a strong understanding of social media platforms, and the ability to develop visually engaging content. The Junior Art Director will work closely with the marketing and creative teams to conceptualize, design, and execute campaigns that resonate with our audience and elevate our brand presence.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Creative & Marketing teams to develop and execute creative concepts for social media campaigns.
  • Create visually compelling content tailored for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Design graphics, motion content, and visuals for posts, stories, and ads.
  • Oversee photoshoots, video production, and editing for social media needs.
  • Ensure all creative output aligns with brand guidelines and voice.
  • Maintain a consistent visual identity across all social channels.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in social media and digital design.
  • Propose fresh ideas to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
  • Partner with other departments (e.g., marketing, product) to understand campaign objectives.
  • Respond to constructive feedback to refine designs and meet client/brand needs.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Organize and archive creative assets efficiently.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in a design or creative role, with a strong portfolio showcasing social media campaigns.
  • Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma.
  • iPhone and DSLR photography, capturing and editing video, and motion graphics skills.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling ability.
  • Experience working across multiple platforms, including digital, print, video, and social media.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate creative concepts to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of social media influencers and content creators.
  • Familiarity with branding, motion graphics, or 3D design is a plus.
