Job Description Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst with expertise in SQL and Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in analyzing and visualizing data, generating insights, and supporting business decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large datasets. Key Responsibilities: Query, manipulate, and analyze data using SQL (joins, inserts, updates, stored procedures). Develop, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards in Power BI to provide actionable insights. Clean, transform, and prepare datasets for reporting and analysis. Assist in data validation, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into visual reports. Identify trends, anomalies, and patterns to support business decisions. Document data processes and ensure best practices in data management. Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in a data analysis role. Proficiency in SQL (writing queries, working with relational databases). Hands-on experience with Power BI (creating dashboards, DAX calculations, data modeling). Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros are a plus). Understanding of data visualization best practices and reporting principles. Experience with ETL processes and data transformation is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Strong communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders. Nice-to-Have: Experience with Python or R for data analysis. Familiarity with cloud databases (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud). Exposure to business intelligence tools beyond Power BI (Tableau, Looker, etc.).
