Junior Fusion Technician - APTIM Corporation : Job Details

Run a fusion machines to but fuse pipe and fittings. Run an excavator, off road truck to dig trench and install HDPE horizontal piping on landfills for instillation of methane gas piping. Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities: Follow all maintenance and safety procedures. Operate heavy equipment on landfill when needed. Connect sections of drill pipe, using HDPE welding machines and PVC pipe with Glue and primer. Record operational and/or environmental data Maintain and adjust machinery to ensure proper performance. Maintain equipment. Operate off road trucks and excavators on side slopes. Measure materials or objects for installation or assembly. Mix substances or compounds needed for work activities. Repair or replace defective parts of machinery, fusion equipment, excavators, off road trucks water trucks, air compressors, and pumps using hand tools. Install piping, well heads and valves.
