Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Project Manager with experience in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) projects to join our team. This hybrid role will support the management of smaller-scale projects, ensuring efficient coordination between teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on background in installation, inspection, and project diagnostics, combined with strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project designs and manage documentation, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the appropriate authorities.
• Coordinate and oversee project activities, including scheduling installations, inspections, and follow-ups with surveyors, subcontractors, and the engineering team.
• Conduct site visits as needed to monitor project progress, solve issues, and perform diagnostics on ongoing installations.
• Manage daily communications with stakeholders, including engineers, clients, and crews, to ensure project milestones are met on time.
• Maintain a focus on safety protocols and ensure compliance across all job sites.
• Provide regular updates on project status and escalate any issues that may impact timelines or safety.

Must-Have Skills:

• Installer/Inspector/Diagnostics Background: 5 years of hands-on industry experience within C&I projects.
• Project Coordination: Experience reviewing designs (not designing) and pushing paperwork, including managing submissions and filings.
• Safety Conscious: An understanding of the safety protocols required for commercial projects and the ability to ensure compliance on-site.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage phone-based coordination and follow-ups with multiple parties.
• Ability to manage projects without micromanaging or just giving directions; a hands-on approach to solving issues and guiding teams.

Position Type:

Hybrid This role requires visiting sites regularly (80% of projects are in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Manhattan) and working with teams on the ground.

Travel:

2-3 site visits per week to commercial project locations for inspections, diagnostics, and project monitoring.
