Junior Quality Engineer Technician (R&D) - Lumenance : Job Details

Job DescriptionDo you know quality control? This is a great opportunity to use your expertise to help Honda R&D develop the cars of tomorrow. This is a contract position.Job Tasks* Read and understand drawings and specifications to identify key quality characteristics of part design.* Collectand analyze samples to evaluate conformance to specifications.* Install prototype parts on development vehicles to validate fit\finish & function.* Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to stake holders.* Work with other engineers and team members to identify the root cause of non-conforming materials and possible corrective actions.* Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.* Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors.* As needed, conduct quality based visits to suppliers to ensure developmental and mass production quality.Requirements* 2+ years experience in a quality control environment - preferable automotive related* Extensive experience using quality inspection tools ( Ex. micrometers, dial gauges, fixturing equipment)* Educational background commensurate with job tasksBenefits* Overtime pay (1x base rate)* Paid Time Off* Paid Holidays* Health, Dental, Vision Insurance* Life and Disability Insurance
