Sales
Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online. Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role
The Key Account Manager will lead customer strategy for the Reckitt Health portfolio for a key national drug customer. You'll manage negotiations, promotions, a trade budget and line reviews. You'll build relationships with buyers, category development managers and internal stake holders. Playing a key role in the Sales team, you will oversee the achievement of customer and channel plan.
Your responsibilities
In summary, you'll:
* Develop and manage customer relationship with buyers; own customer strategy ensuring business priorities are in line to exceed all key sales measures (POS Consumption, Gross Sales, Net Revenue, and Gross Margin).
* Develop promotional strategy with customer, and promotional execution (including trade budget management, range and space optimization)
* Achieve / exceed all key sales measures and target for the national account (NR, COP, NWC and trade spend) through effective P&L management.
* Partner with Brand & Trade Marketing to ensure development & implementation of customer category strategy and best-in-class execution.
* Partner with Demand Planning to ensure Customer Service levels are met / exceeded.
* Partner with finance team to ensure financial predictability of monthly forecasts are delivered via mix management, promotion management, pricing accuracy & deduction management.
* Overall Continuous improvement - identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability and overall improvement in the management of categories.
The experience we're looking for
* Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent management experience
* 5-7 years of related Sales experience
* Previous experience with Walgreens preferred
* Knowledge of Consumer-packaged goods industry
* Analytical mindset
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Strong knowledge of sales function processes and cross-functional exposure to other Reckitt Business Operations

US salary ranges
USD $138,000.00 - $208,000.00
US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
