Company DescriptionJob DescriptionIngram Content Group (ICG)is hiring a Key Account Sales Manager (CORE) to work with ourteam in either our NYC or La Vergne, TN office. Join the world's largest book wholesaler to sell and connect publishers with Ingram and Lightning Source's print and digital services. In this role, you will develop selling and service relationships throughout all levels of the Publisher's organization. This role will drive growth by working with management to develop scaled sales and marketing strategies and forecasting sales targets. Appropriately manages expenses within the market segment of Publisher accounts. Seeks out and becomes comfortable with all Ingram products and lines of business, web-based systems and other internal software and reporting suites. Creates high-impact deals with assigned accounts while supporting larger business strategies. Effectively works with internal and external stakeholders to meet sales and growth targets.Ingram Content Group ( Ingram ) connects people with content in all forms. Providing comprehensive services for publishers, retailers, libraries, and educators, Ingram makes these services seamless and accessible through technology, innovation, and creativity. - Bachelor's degree or directly related year for year experience
- 3 years' experience in sales, book publishing or printing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Book industry experience
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and grows the book of potential Core accounts: identifying new opportunities while growing sales to assigned accounts.
- Understands solution requirements of potential publishing and content customers and recommends relevant suite of applicable Ingram products and services, including both physical and digital offerings.
- Leads discussions with Publishers regarding the need for current and future print on demand, global fulfillment, distribution, digital product, and sales needs for all Ingram products.
- Works with management and team leaders to develop and deliver solution based proposals that address the needs of the author/publisher through Ingram's current print and digital offerings or the development of new offerings using Ingram's core competencies.
- Serve as the main sales person and contact between publishers and every aspect of the Ingram Content Group from contracts, to operations, to relationships. Gains a full understanding of each client's business and its relationship with Ingram.
- Works with management and team leaders to prepare and deliver complex presentations, proposal, quotes and contracts.
- Works with management to thoroughly evaluate business opportunities and needs as they arise and develops recommendations.
Hiring Salary Range: $87,475k - $110,601k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market dataQualificationsAdditional InformationPerks/Benefits:
