July 15, 2021 Program Overview and Job Summary KSS offers a range of programs for children grades K-12, that provide a balance of hands-on science activities, field-based exploration, and adventure programming. During summer, our campus is full of Instructors and campers and it is the job of the kitchen staff to make sure everyone gets a good breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is an opportunity to work under an accomplished Chef in a beautiful mountain setting. The Kitchen Assistant helps our Camp Chef prepare breakfasts, lunches, and dinners through the end of our fall programming. Main areas of focus: 85% Prepping food and cooking 15% Cleaning Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow state and local guidelines for maintaining food safety; Prep food for meals; Cook Breakfast and dinner and serve buffet style; Make sandwiches for lunch; Keep kitchen, serving area, and dining hall clean
