Our skilled nursing facility is looking for candidates with management experience and excellent organizational skills for a Kitchen Manager position. You will be responsible for interacting and communicating with residents, understanding resident health concerns and dietary requirements, and ensuring food preparation follows strict health guidelines, among other duties.Duties will also include planning staff schedules and operating within a budget, requiring good organizational and numerical skills.Responsibilities:
- Managing daily foodservice operations, including staff management.
- Interacting with residents to ensure their satisfaction.
- Organizing staff working schedules.
- Carrying out inventory management.
- Purchasing supplies and equipment for operations.
- Designing standards and procedures for food preparation.
- Ensuring safe storage and preparation of food.
Requirements:
- 2+ years in foodservice management preferred.
- Highly organized and responsible.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
